Izzy’s Story Skills: The Three Billy Goats Gruff is a unique literacy resource that enables young children to experience, explore and investigate many aspects of the traditional tale whilst developing basic literacy skills that underpin effective storytelling, reading and listening. This highly original retelling of the traditional tale enables young children to explore the world of The Three Billy Goats Gruff via both adult and child-led learning opportunities. The story itself can be used in two different ways (with or without text and narration), providing a rich and flexible resource that supports and encourages young children in their own story telling. In addition, each of the five engaging activities focuses on a basic language skill within a carefully-designed, fully-narrated scenario.
