This 360 image shows the view from within the famous Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, in Rome. It is the largest amphitheatre in the world and is considered one of the greatest works on Roman engineering and architecture. It took just 9 years to build and could hold 50,000 people. A variety of events took place at the Colosseum, including Bestiarii (gladiators fighting animals), Meridiani (gladiator fights), executions and animal hunts.
