Description

A 360 view of the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, designed by French architect Paul Andreu. This striking modern building sits in contrast to the historic centre of Beijing. The curved dome looks like a water drop, and guests arrive in the building after walking through a hallway that goes underneath the lake. The inaugural concert was held in December 2007. As China's top performing arts centre, the NCPA holds theĀ guiding principleĀ of 'for the people, for art and for the world'.
