The Matier Glacier is located in Joffre Lakes Provincial Park near Pemberton, British Columbia. A popular hiking area, the glacier overlooks Upper Joffre Lake, though to get up here one must hike an additional 300 meters up to the current terminus. The glacier forms from a high icy plateau at the base of the Mt. Matier massif.
