Northern Lights Iceland

This resource is only available as part of a pack

Description

These beautiful lights high in the night sky are called auroras. If you’re near the North Pole, it is called an aurora borealis or northern lights, and near the South Pole it is called an aurora australis or the southern lights. The aururas occur when energy and small particles given off by the Sun reach the Earth's magnetic field and interact with different gasses in the Earth's atmosphere. Solar storms that give off more energy and small particles will create more vibrant auroras.

Experience green aurora over houses in snowy Iceland.
