Description

The Divinity School, which is attached to the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford. The Divinity School was built in 1488 for the teaching of Theology. With its elaborately vaulted ceiling and its 455 carved bosses, it is a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture. It is the University's earliest purpose built teaching room, and its first examination hall.
