Description

Lava flowing down the side of the Mount Etna volcano in Sicily. Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe at around 3,329 meters (though this can fluctuate with summit eruptions.) It is the largest of Italy’s three active volcanoes at around two and a half times the height of Mount Vesuvius.
