It’s time to take a trip deep beneath the Earth’s surface and explore the mysteries of the ground beneath our feet. In this scene you will be able to walk where nobody has ever gone before – straight through the Earth to the molten core of the planet. On the way you will see many exciting and hidden features, including some famous historical sites, underwater creatures and all of the different layers that make up planet Earth.

# Humans Underground{.objective .objective1}
In this section students learn that the human activity that takes place beneath the surface of the Earth happens within the crust – the outer layer of the planet that stretches down around 30,000km. In this activity, students are asked to enter the scene to explore the special type of equipment that is need for humans to be able to go underground and how they help the humans reach such great depths.
# Deep Sea Dive{.objective .objective2}
Different types of animals that can be found in a deep-sea dive and at which level are described. Students are asked to explore the adaptations animals have had to make over time to be able to live deep underwater.
# Deep Sea Dive{.objective .objective3}
In this section there is an explanation for all of the different layers of the planet. Students should observe how the different layers appear, whilst learning about what Earth’s core may look like.
