This scene is set on board the deck of the USS Arizona – one of the warships that sank during the raid on Pearl Harbour. Students will spawn on the harbour dock, facing the ship in the water. The ship can be boarded via gangplanks towards either end and, the deck is partially explorable. In the distance, over the sea, students will be able to see several Japanese bombers, circling around the outskirts of the scene

Explore the events that occurred after Pearl Harbour and consider how these events are remembered today. Students can think about what they have learnt from this model about the attack on Pearl Harbour. Why was Pearl Harbour so important during World War Two? How do they think the war could have gone differently if Japan had never attacked Pearl Harbour?
