This scene will take the form of a reconstructed Anglo-Saxon village based in England after the Anglo-Saxon invaded. In this scene, students will be able to explore the village and learn what it would have been like to live during this period of time; whilst being able to learn about housing conditions, jobs and daily roles.

# Why did the Anglo-Saxons come to England?{.objective .objective1}
The first part of the scene looks at the organisation and structure in the village, focusing on buildings and defences. Here students will find out the reasoning behind Anglo-Saxons landing in England. This task asks students to explore the village and make up their own minds as to the reasoning for their arrival.
# What was an Anglo-Saxon village like?{.objective .objective2}
This section asks students to explore the village and think about what it would have been like to live there - putting themselves in the position of an average Anglo Saxon villager. The task here asks students to think about sounds, sights, smells, tastes, and feel of an Anglo-Saxon village.
# Which jobs that were available in an Anglo-Saxon Village{.objective .objective3}
The final section of this scene focuses on the work undertaken by everyday Anglo-Saxon people. The information here also looks at the education of children and how the hierarchy in villages was structured. The task here asks students to explore the village again and look for evidence of the day-to-day work that was done here.
