The Korean War

The Korean War took place between North Korea and South Korea on 25th June 1950 and 27th July 1953. At least 2.5 million people lost their lives during the war and this war is also known to have played a key part in the historical period of the Cold War. Here, students can visit a virtual environment and understand the Korean War in detail.
