Students will learn about shipping containers, how they are used, and their importance to global trade. Students should observe how the containers are organised. They will be asked if the organisation can be improved and made to be more efficient.
# Goods and Materials{.objective .objective2}
This section looks at how goods are transported on a global scale. They will learn that goods and resources may move between several countries from their raw state. Students will be asked to explore the containers and examine the goods to determine which type on industry each container has come from.
# Origin and Destination{.objective .objective3}
Students will learn that transport of containers is automated and that barcodes are used to link them to their manifesto. Students are encouraged to investigate the bridge of the ship and identify the extent of the global trade. They will be asked to use the shipping route map to appreciate the globalised movement of goods and resources.
