The scene lets students explore a soccer stadium and learn about globalisation of sporting events. The various models and aspects of the scene will develop the students’ understanding of the importance of sporting events, the industries involved in ensuring the events take place, and how the global reach is achieved.

# Sporting Events, Settings, and Access{.objective .objective1}
This section will provide examples of different sporting environments, how they are used and adapted for the sporting activity. Students will be asked to explore the scene and identify the type of sporting environment.
# Global Sporting Events{.objective .objective2}
Students will learn about global sporting events and the impact a country's economy, culture, resources, and identity have on their potential success. They will identify clues that suggest a large investment in the sporting event.
# The Impact of Globalisation of Sport{.objective .objective3}
The impact of globalisation on sporting events will be examined. Students will learn that globalisation increases global awareness of a sporting event, the investment in that sport, the trade in that sport and the global reach of that sport for the fan base. They will learn about the various industries involved in making a sporting event happen and asked to explore the scene and identify the services provided by the industries to facilitate that sporting event. They should identify clues suggesting the sporting event has a global reach.
