The scene takes the form of an interactive model of the human brain, of which various parts can be moved. Each section of the brain is associated with a room that models what that part of the brain controls. From involuntary to voluntary muscle actions, conscious thought, language, and memory, the brain has a variety of jobs.

# Involuntary actions{.objective .objective1}

- In this section, a description of involuntary actions will be outlined. Actions like breathing and our heartbeat are vital for staying alive and are controlled by the brain without us needing to control it. The role of the medulla.
- Students will be asked to observe involuntary actions and link it to the correct part of the brain. Then they need to identify it on the interactive model of the brain.

# Voluntary actions{.objective .objective2}

- In this section, a description of voluntary actions will be outlined. Muscle coordination may not be as vital but are important. The role of the cerebellum will be described.
- Students will be asked to observe voluntary actions and link it to the correct part of the brain. Then they need to identify it on the interactive model of the brain.

# Awareness, speaking, and remembering{.objective .objective3}

- In this section, other processes controlled by the cerebral cortex will be outlined. The part of the brain that controls awareness, speech, memory, and intelligence, shows how the brain has a complex and variety of actions it controls.
- Students will be asked to observe speech, awareness, and intelligence. They will be asked to link it to the correct part of the brain and identify it on the interactive model of the brain.
