"CERRITO BONGO" INDIGENOUS RESERVATION

**Cerrito Bongo Indigenous Reserve** Located along the *El Pie Stream* (a branch of the river). About three hours from Ladrilleros, traveling upstream along the La Barra River to the Bongo River. This is a community that was displaced by violence and is now fighting to return from the cities to their ancestral lands in the heart of the Pacific rainforest in Gabon. These forests are part of the Congo Basin rainforest.
