They will be asked to explore the scene and observe the geyser to find signs of geyserite deposits. # Geothermal Formation – Yellowstone Caldera{.objective .objective2} Students will learn about the Yellowstone National Park Caldera and how its heat results in the park’s thermal features. They will follow the trail underground to observe how the water is heated. # Yellowstone Hot Springs{.objective .objective3} Students will learn about two types of hot spring found in Yellowstone National Park. They will observe the differences and understand what causes the vivid colours found in the water.
