Description

A view of the kitchen in the Dahl Estate in the open air museum in Lindlar. The Dahl estate is a half-timbered landlord's house from the 1800s relocated to the museum in 2014, restored and reconstructed to the shape and appearance it had in the 1850s. The separation of the kitchen from the dining room indicates a prosperous family for the epoch depicted. There are also separate dining and sitting rooms. The open air museum himself is dedicated to the country life in the Bergisches Land (formerly the Duchy of Berg) in Germany.
