Prestosuchus

Description

Prestosuchus is one of the largest carnivorous Archosaurs of the Rauisuchian group. Its length exceeds 5‒6.5 meters. The genus is characterized by a remarkably large skull (one meter in length) and knife-like serrated teeth. Limbs are situated underneath the body; the frontal ones are shorter. The tail is relatively long and massive.
