The lens of the **Galileo telescope** is comprised from a **converging lens** and the **eyepiece**, which is a **diverging lens**. The image focus of the objective lens is matching with the objective focus of the eyepiece. The telescope operates on the same principle as the **Keplerian telescope** - but instead of **converging lens** a **diverging lens** is used in the eyepiece.
