Description

The microscope is an optical instrument that serves to the magnification of the observed objects. There can be several different types of microscopes, but the simplest and most commonly used is a light microscope. The source of the light, which enlightens the observed object, is a visible light (either solar or from bulbs). The observed object must be very thin to make it possible for such light to shine through it. Therefore, thin slices - such as sections of leaves or roots of plants - are fabricated for purposes of microscopy. Thinly chopped tissue is then fastened on the microscope stand and observed in multiple zoom, which allows us to capture the cellular structure of an object.
