Description

A cubic (isometric) crystal system is characterized by three perpendicular axes (intersect at 90° – angles α, β, γ), where all axes are equal in their lengths (a₁, a₂, a₃). Mineral examples include e.g., diamond, silver, gold, galena, pyrite, sphalerite, halite, fluorite and andradite (garnets).
