Archimedean Solids ‒ Types

by STEAM3D

Description

The term "Archimedean solid" refers to a highly symmetrical, semiregular convex polyhedron. It is composed of two or more types of regular polygons. The name is derived from Archimedes of Syracuse, the Greek mathematician, physicist, philosopher, astronomer and inventor, who described these geometric shapes in his writings.
