Telkwa (aerial)

A 91m aerial view overlooking Telkwa, British Columbia.  The area was founded in 1904 as Aldermere however settlement of this area began around 1907.  Telkwa itself is a possible Indigenous term meaning "meeting of the waters", referring to the confluence of the Bulkey & Telkwa Rivers as seen in this view.  As of 2022, the population was recorded at 1,460.   More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telkwa
