The capuchin monkey (genus Cebus) is a small, intelligent primate found in the tropical forests of Central and South America. They have a distinctive appearance, with light-colored faces and dark fur covering their bodies. Capuchins live in social groups, called troops and are frequently found near the tops of tall forest trees, however their habitat ranges from forest floor to canopy. They have a pretty varied diet, including nuts, insects, small animals and fruits.
