This experience shows a rainforest in Eastern Madagascar. Madagascar, the fourth largest island in the world, has been isolated for 150 to 180 million years from other land masses. Because of this, approximately 90% of the plant and animals species found on the island exist nowhere else on Earth. These rare species combined with forest destruction means that there are a vast number of endangered species found here.
