A 360 view from outside the Basílica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona. Work began in 1883 and the construction of Antoni Gaudí's ornate design is still in progress today. Gaudí's original design calls for a total of eighteen spires of varying height representing the Twelve Apostles, the Virgin Mary, the four Evangelists and, tallest of all, Jesus Christ. There are three grand façades on the external walls; the Nativity façade to the East, the Passion façade to the West, and the Glory façade to the South (yet to be completed).
