Description

A 360 image of Bulgaria's capital and largest city, Sofia, with a view of St. Cyril and Methodius National Library. Founded on 4 April 1878, the library received the status of Bulgarian National Library three years later and the Bulgarian National Revival Archive was merged into it in 1924. It is named after Saints Cyril and Methodius. They are the creators of the Glagolitic alphabet. The Cyrillic alphabet is named after Cyril. The current building was built between 1940 and 1953 after the original building was bombed during the Second World War.
