Inside a replica of Skylab, a space station sent into orbit in 1973 for American astronauts to live in space for the first time. Skylab only remained in orbit until 1979, but during that time many scientific experiments were conducted on board; the solar observatory was of particular importance and allowed scientists to confirm the existence of coronal holes on the Sun.
