The scene lets students explore a typical camp made by Canadian Inuits. The camp is made up of igloos, artifacts and an Inuit in typical clothes made to tolerate the cold. student will explore and learn about the Inuits as hunter gatherers and understand how they survived and made the Northern regions of Canada and the Artic their home.

# Who are the Inuits of Canada?{.objective .objective1}

Students will learn about the origin of the Inuits of Canada and where they migrated from. They will learn how the Inuits developed several native groups. Students will be asked to explore the scene and look for clues that Inuits settled in the Arctic region.

# How did the Inutis Survive the Harsh Canadian Environment?{.objective .objective2}

Students will learn about the climate Inuits lived in and how they were able to deal with it. They will learn about the varied wildlife tribes hunted as a source of food and the methods used as hunter gatherers. Students will be asked to identify the tools used and think about the purpose they served during hunting. Students will be asked to identify that igloos were made of blocks of snow and that animal fur was used to make appropriate clothing for the harsh Arctic climate.

# Culture{.objective .objective3}

Students will learn about the culture among Inuits. They will learn how the active participation of Inuits in the development of new settlements changed their culture. They will also learn how Canadian authorities forced policies for Inuit integration in the Canadian life style, further changing their culture. Students will explore the scene and identify clues that Inuits practiced throat singing.
