A triangle is a planar geometric shape defined by three non-collinear points. It has three vertices, three edges and three interior angles. One of the fundamental properties of a triangle is that the sum of its interior angles is always 180°. The sum of the lengths of any two shorter sides is always greater than the length of the third side, known as the triangle inequality rule.
