Easter is one of the most important religious festivals for Christians. Easter week, or Holy week, commemorates that last week of Jesus Christ’s life, his death and resurrection. In this scene students can virtually walk through the desert and explore the events and importance of Easter week! # Learning objectives 1: Understand what happened during the last week of Jesus’ life {.info} 2: Understand the importance of Easter for Christians {.info} # What is the Easter Story? {.objective .objective1} In this section students can learn about the last week of Jesus’ life and understand what happened on each day. In this scene students are asked to enter the scene and identify any Christian symbols and consider how some Christians may describe Jesus. # How is Easter Celebrated? {.objective .objective2} In this section students can learn that some Christians may attend a special service at a religious building or gather as a family and eat an important feast.
